Development and maintenance of new and existing reactive web apps and iOS mobile apps using OutSystems
Utilize OutSystems' AI Mentor Studio to clean up tech debt and optimize apps
Work closely with BA and QA team members to design and plan development of new features and bug fixes
Work closely with BA and QA team members to ensure functional and visual expectations are met for each new feature
Occasionally meet with clients to demo new features and to ensure alignment of expectations
Schedule and perform new releases into the production environment

For all of the projects I was involved with, the clients were on separate, internal teams. All work was tracked in Azure DevOps and split up into 3-week sprints. New apps that I built from scratch were built using an MVP approach. I was the sole developer on all of the projects I worked on.

Examples of apps I worked with:
Visitor Registration: Internal users have the ability to schedule visitors to visit the facility. Visitors coming in use the app on an iPad at the front desk to sign in, which sends a notification to the host.
Production Schedule: Reads equipment order data from JDE to display information about each one in a grid. Ability to modify the data as well.
Order Change Request (created from scratch): Reads equipment order data from JDE. Regular users can submit a request to change specific data fields on an EO, then an admin user can approve/modify and perform the change.
Case Optimization (created from scratch): Customer service team members can easily create new JDE cases for customers from their Sharpen phone system software. They also have the ability to look up historical case information specific to customer or equipment.

Student Researcher, NCSU CS Dept. - Visual Experience Lab

Research was to measure variance in a neighborhood of pixels to progressively refine a given image in real time. This was done with NVIDIA's OptiX Ray Tracing Engine which uses CUDA C/C++.
Involved with weekly lab discussions of certain research papers.
Attended seminars teaching fellow students about things such as writing research papers and applying for graduate school.
Prepared a slideshow about my research project, which was presented to members of the Computer Science Department.
Created a poster about my research project which was presented at a final poster conference (see below).

This is the poster I created to present the research project that I worked on at NCSU. It briefly describes the method of ray tracing to render graphics, then it briefly describes our proposed method for refining a neighborhood of pixels so that ray tracing can be used in an interactive, or real-time, environment such as a video game.
